Secure Rail

Hello!

The premiere of our Secure Rail conference last year was such a success, we're bringing it back again in 2016. I am contacting you to personally invite you to the event. If you're looking for information that is not available anywhere else and addresses both cyber and physical rail security in North America, you'll find it at Secure Rail. Secure Rail takes place February 9-10, 2016 at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Developed by the editors of Progressive Railroading, Secure Rail is the first conference to address North American rail security from an organizational perspective, with a focus on the protection and management of rail technology, assets, and people.

Like the 2015 event, the conference sessions will be presented by some of the most highly regarded industry experts and cover security topics of the utmost importance. Sessions are divided between three tracks: Technology, Assets and People.

Here's a sampling of some of the conference topics:

  • ATPA's Standards Program for Rail Transit Cybersecurity
  • Hazardous Materials: Transparency at What Cost?
  • Railroad Security During Special Events
  • Emerging Technologies and Trends in Rail Security
  • Class Is: Reducing Risks and Increasing Security
  • Vulnerability of Railcars to Damage Caused by the Use of Explosives
  • Surveillance & CCTV Best Practices: The TSA Standard
  • Approaches to Managing Infrastructure Cyber Security Strategies
  • And many more

In addition to two days of relevant educational content, Secure Rail features a variety of networking opportunities, including lunch each day and a cocktail reception. All conference attendees will also receive full access to the Secure Rail Product Showcase featuring industry-leading suppliers of the latest technologies, products and services.

The event takes place February 9-10, which will be here before you know it. I suggest you sign up today while you're thinking about it. You can learn more and register at SecureRailConference.com.

I look forward to seeing you in Orlando in February.

Sincerely,

Kirk Bastyr
