A low-cost alternative to the mainline AEI reader systems

The Spartan AEI Reader was developed for industrial rail shippers and short line railroads as an economical means to automatically identify rail cars entering yards or traveling on low speed tracks (less than 40 MPH)

When trains pass the readers, the system sends train list files as attachments to emails or directly to multiple FTP servers. These files can either be in the AAR's standard S-9203 (T94) format or as CSV files that can be imported into various spreadsheet programs.

The cellular and solar options allow the Spartan AEI Reader to be completely wireless.
