Progressive Railroading invites you to submit a nomination for its 2026 Rising Stars program, recognizing emerging leaders who are making a measurable impact across North America’s rail industry.
If you know a professional under 40* who is delivering results, demonstrating leadership, and earning recognition as a rising star within their organization and beyond, now is the time to nominate them.
The nomination process is easy. Simply complete the survey and include a brief written statement describing how the nominee is contributing to the advancement of railroading and making a positive difference.
Candidates will be evaluated on a range of criteria, including their contributions to the industry, career accomplishments, leadership capabilities, education or professional development, and involvement in professional or community organizations.
Help us recognize the individuals who are shaping the future of rail.
Winners Recognition
Progressive Railroading will select 25 Rising Stars and publish their profiles in the magazine's September issue. In addition, the Rising Stars of 2026 will be honored during a virtual celebration on July 22.
