BNSF to gain grain traffic from new terminals in Kansas, Wisconsin
In late May, BNSF moved its first shuttle train loaded with corn from ALCIVIA's newly constructed grain terminal in Hager City, Wisconsin. The move came two months after the first inbound trains of fertilizer began rolling into Central Valley Ag’s new grain shuttle facility and agronomy plant complex in Courtland, Kansas.

Rail is a crucial component of Ozinga's cement mill coming to northern Indiana
In East Chicago, Indiana, Ozinga is building what will be North America's largest low-carbon cement mill. To open next year, it'll be served by the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, which interchanges with all six Class Is and other railroads in the Chicago area. Rail volume won't be shifted from an existing plant; the new facility will handle “all new rail volume," says Ozinga EVP of Rail James Kornas.
