Progressive Railroading's 2022 Rising Stars
Nine years ago, Progressive Railroading created the Rising Stars recognition program as a way to highlight — and celebrate — some of the industry’s up-and-comers. And for the past seven years, we've asked readers to help us identify individuals under the age of 40 who are making a positive difference in the rail industry.
During a nomination process that lasted several months, Progressive Railroading readers submitted more than 140 nominations of individuals who work for Class Is, regionals, short lines, passenger railroads, transit agencies, government entities, associations, engineering firms, contractors and suppliers. From that group, we selected the 2022 Rising Stars. This year's class of 25 comprises a diverse set of men and women chosen based on their contributions to the industry, career achievements, demonstrated leadership, professional association activity or community involvement. This month, we feature profiles of our 2022 Rising Stars.
