The past few years have been tough. As my meeting earlier this week with our VP of Marketing was winding down, I asked him how things are going for him and our marketing team. He indicated things are finally getting back to normal, or the "new normal." More and more each day, the industry is optimistic about the future. He said something that caught my attention that I wanted to share with fellow marketers:
"We've put a full court press on in everything we're doing for outbound in all channels. We're finding it's still difficult to get people to take notice but the desire is definitely there, we just have to be in front of them early and often across all channels. The more places they see us, the more confident they are that things are returning to normal."
I agreed. Companies in rail are ramping their marketing activities back up, therefore, our product inventories are thinning.
