CSX's Transformative Journey
A new leadership team has refined objectives. A first-ever chief strategy officer is in place. Precision scheduled railroading is immersed throughout the organization. There have been a lot of changes at CSX since former leader E. Hunter Harrison died in late 2017 and James Foote assumed control of the Class I in early 2018, and more are expected. Positive train control will be fully implemented sometime early next year, well before the federal end-of-2020 deadline.
