Bright, shining stars are in the forecast for the night of Sunday, July 22. The American Association of Railroad Superintendents' will be hosting their 2018 Annual Meeting at the W. Lakeshore Hotel in Chicago, IL. During this time Progressive Railroading will host a dinner for the Rising Star honorees. Individual tickets and tables of 10 are now available. According to Progressive Railroading, a Rising Star is someone under the age of 40 who is making a positive impact on his or her company, organization, department or team, and is viewed by others as an up-and-coming leader in the rail industry. This is Progressive Railroading's fifth annual Rising Stars Awards Dinner.
This year's honorees were chosen based on their contributions to the railroad industry, career achievements, demonstrated leadership, professional association activity or community involvement. Their stories will be profiled on ProgressiveRailroading.com this summer, and published in the magazine's September issue.
